Despite the significantly expanded shop space , it's all the same shops selling the same old things, Only everthing seems bigger and roomier..
inside feel like AMK hub .. only with much more people..
One good thing tho, the old J1 part of is now MUCH less crowded. I eat lunch dun have to queue and chope seat.

Permsec's French holiday..
My take on this .....
Dun care, none of my business how he spend his money/time..
How people use their own money is their own business, $45000 is alot of money but not that much... Though I'll never fork out a single cent to go for French crusine course ( Dun even like the food, hate butter/cheese) I'm more than willing and able to fork out $45000 ..if it's something that REALLY interest me. And I doubt my income is even 1/20 of his..
I'm pretty sure Mr Tan is not trying to show off his wealth. To Who? I doubt his friends and social circle cares , I think most are just as wealthy and much more so
But I do think he is Haoliao ..like some say..
just that he's not showing off wealth, but rather..
How a good father/Husband/Leader he is.... how "cultured" and High Brow he is ..
Like how pple in business/politics got to play golf
Probably tryin to impress the boss ..

The real Chi Bi 2 review
Now, I watch the 11.40pm show of this movie .. at GV Viviocity..
So it actually starts closer to Midnite and ends after 2pm. I didn't fell asleep during the 140mins of the movie.. and I only realized my buttocks is abit sore from sitting towards the end.
This is a good thing b'cos it shows the movie is good enuff to held my attention.
No absurd formations , or stupid one-on army battles this time. They keep it real mostly this time.. The Testudo is a bit out of place , but oh well. nothing as bad the 八卦阵 in the first part..
The Overall the battles are very well done, especially the Naval battles ,it is unlike any I've seen in ANY movies.
Props to Zhang Fengyi..
Cao Cao as potrayed by Zhang Feng Yi is what carried this movie. It's his presence that made this a legitimate RTK movie unlike Andy Lau's Crap of a "RTK" movie.Without him , you might as well be watching a live action Kessen 2 or Stars Wars set in Ancient China.
I love all the scenes of inspiring /boosting the morale of his troops.. so typical of Cao Cao
And that stirring speech at infirmary is exactly the kind of things that I though the real Cao would say..
All the cast did their part and played their role competently, even Nakamura Shido.. despite the language barrier.. 这个好！
except Li Chih-Lng..
John Woo must be thinking with his "hotdog" when he cast her..
Letting Xiao Qiao steal the thunder of of winning is bad enuff , they scared the audience didn't catch it they have to keep reminding us of this fact in the last part of the movie. But having more than one (atleast 3) characters spelt it out for you."we lost all b'cos of this women!" again and again again...
Despite being a VERY Beautiful women by most standards, and my own, I'm disgusted whenever she's on-screen.I must admit my already low opinion is made worse by that awful hosting job she did at the recent Golden Horse.
New Year is around the corner.. I dun want to say more , cos I'll swear and curse all the way..
Allow me just this one...

Chi Bi 2
Saw this last friday. Went in with very very low expectations.. thanks to reviews which mentioned the increase significance and screen time of the female characters, especially Li Chih Ling's Xiao Qiao character.I dun mind Zhao Wei's Sun Shangxiang's , atleast there's some basis for it in the source material , and she fit right in with all the men.
My main beef is with Xiao Qiao or rather Li Chih Ling. Okay.. their entitled to creative licence.. but atleast find someone with more chops than Li Chih Ling to play the character.. An amateur like her only makes it worst..
Okay enuff about that .. on to the the movie...

Ong Bak 2
Not really want to see but got dragged to it...
The story, like many reviews already said , dun make alot of sense and ends abruptly.
Did I say the fights are plenty cool and gory ? The reported crocodile/wild elephant scene is abit underwhelming thou.. hey did I say the fights are very cool ?
Ya that's about it.. very cool and bloody fights and lots of dirty man just about sums up the movie..
